About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Nampa, Idaho, Italianesque is a vibrant Italian restaurant that masterfully brings the warmth and richness of Italy’s culinary tradition to the Treasure Valley. From the moment you step inside, the inviting aroma of freshly made pastas, garlic knots, and simmering sauces instantly whets your appetite, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Italianesque celebrates authentic Italian cuisine with a carefully curated menu that boasts both classic comforts and inventive twists. Signature appetizers like the Burrata Pomodoro—a luscious burrata cheese ball nestled in a zesty pomodoro sauce and served with crisp focaccia bread—showcase the kitchen’s skill in balancing fresh, vibrant flavors. The Meatballs and Tomato Sauce, crafted from a rich blend of veal, pork, beef, ricotta, asiago, and mascarpone, deliver a hearty, savory punch that will linger lovingly on your palate.

For your main course, the menu dazzles with variety and finesse. The Fettucine Alfredo is a crowd favorite, boasting a creamy blend of garlic and asiago that is perfectly smooth and comforting; diners can customize it with fresh chicken, succulent shrimp, or those signature homemade meatballs for an extra burst of flavor. If you’re feeling adventurous, the Trottole Primavera, featuring pesto made with basil, garlic, and pumpkin seeds, punctuated by cherry tomatoes and sharp asiago cheese, offers a fresh, herbaceous profile that dances on the tongue.

Dessert lovers will find themselves drawn to the Tiramisu, an elegantly layered indulgence with ladyfinger cookies soaked in espresso and amaretto liqueur, enveloped in creamy egg custard and dusted with cocoa powder. The Frozen Chocolate Pie—a decadent slice combining rich chocolate, marshmallow, and buttery graham cracker crust—is a perfect cool-down finale. And for something a bit different, don’t miss the Black Market Gelato, a truly memorable nod to authentic Italian gelato traditions.

The dining atmosphere at Italianesque radiates warmth and passion, much like the food itself. Guests rave about the friendly and attentive service, making every visit feel personalized and special. Whether you come for a casual family-style dinner or a cozy evening with a loved one, the beautifully presented dishes and thoughtfully sourced ingredients elevate the meal beyond mere sustenance into a joyous celebration of Italian heritage.

Reviewers such as Rhiana Silveria praise the exquisite presentation and unique flavors of dishes like the Cajun seafood linguine and butternut squash ravioli, while Eddie highlights the consistent quality and welcoming vibe even during late hours. Caden Chandler notes the chef’s evident passion and commitment to high-quality ingredients, reflected in every bite. Anthony Sein appreciates the colorful and aromatic dishes, though reminds us that even gems can have minor quirks, like slightly undercooked brussel sprouts. Ricardo L sums it up by calling Italianesque a “hidden gem” with top-notch food, stellar service, and a well-curated wine selection.

Whether you’re a devoted lover of Italian cuisine or an eager newcomer, Italianesque on N Galleria Drive promises a culinary journey filled with heart, flavor, and authentic Italian soul. This is more than just a meal; it’s a vibrant, taste-filled embrace of Italy, right here in Idaho.

My friend and I decided to try this out and we were not disappointed one bit. Started with espresso martinis that were to die for. Shared the burrata pomoddoro for an app then decided we would do family style with our entrees. We got the ravioli with butternut squash and pancetta and Cajun seafood linguine. Both dishes were presented so beautifully and each had a unique taste that was so mouth watering. Definitely going to be back to try more dishes.

The food here is outstanding! My wife and I came to town on business and really wanted some good Italian and the reviews are definitely what brought us in. However, the delicious dishes we had along with the super friendly service will have us coming back every chance we get. I should note, we did come late in the day and near closing time but we were still met with a friendly staff and welcomed in. My wife ordered their amazing Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and I ordered the Lasagna but later came to find that they were out of the later. Our waitress/bartender (I later found was the co-owner) recommended their Pappardelle Bolognese in place of the lasagna and WOW - I was not disappointed. In fact, I think I would have ordered it instead if I knew how good it was going to be. I should note that even though this restaurant is located in the back corner of a dying outdoor mall, it is my understanding that they can get quite busy and while it wasn't needed for our visit, it'd probably be a good idea to call and make reservations. Atmosphere is very cozy and modern with a cool factor. There is outside dining available as well and on a warm evening, I would imagine that'd be the place to be. Of course, if you enjoy imbibing on fine wines or a bourbon, they do have a full bar with specialty cocktails available as well. And, if there's a final note that I'd like to make, the owner/chef is a Jeeper with a very nice CJ that you might be able to see parked out front. Need I say, I would highly recommend this very fine dining establishment.

This place was absolutely delicious! The passion from the owner to the chef clearly shows. The sourcing behind the food was very thoughtful as well. We had the burrata appetizer and the bolognese. Highly recommend we will be back.

I ordered the Radiatori Primavera, delicious mix of veggies, well cooked except for the brussel sprouts, seemed a bit raw. Other than that, the presentation was beautiful, smelled amazing and the addition of chicken, really loaded me up. My partner got the ravioli and asiago cheese. She said it was delicious and the plate looked wonderful. Great atmosphere, i gave 4 star because it was a bit warm in temperature. I liked the simplistic art on the walls however the tall open ceilings made it feel like the art was really small. Customer service was amazing, server was quick on the order, appetizers came out speedy and they answered all my questions and even offered recommendations. We got focaccia and oil for app, personally i think it came with too much oil. Lemon pie for dessert was great to share, probably too much for 1 person and a bit too sweet, personally. Definitely would come back to try other dishes!

My quick take is a reservation is needed but the food is outstading with large portions, the service is great and the atmosphere in nice with room for improvement! (Full review below) A spur of the moment, much overdue quick Anniversary dinner with the wife brought us here... We had the cheesy bread for an appetizer, its fiocca bread with a cheese and bacon topping served with a side of Alfredo sauce, it was delicious. My main dish was their Lasagna mmmm let me tell you it was amazing, rich complex flavors had me trying to eat it all. My wife had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken (sorry no pic) I got one taste of it and it was equally as delicious, very rich in its flavor! Oh we also shared the key lime pie 10/10 best I have ever had... every bite carries this smooth citrus lime flavor to the very end without being overly tart. Service was perfect in my opinion very warm, welcoming, and attentive but not hovering! The atmosphere as far as seating and the building... its definitely not what you would expect from the outside, its open with high ceilings but quaint all at the same time.... now for my only gripe! The background music could use an absolute upgrade and is the only reason I won't give the atmosphere 5 stars! It was like an 80s-90s elevator Kenny G-ish playlist and was a bit distracting at times for me while we were talking... I feel like it could have been something more romantic, subtle, soft and up to date, whatever that means lol... I suppose maybe some George Winston or 2Cellos romantic cover music would work.... I am not sure those are the fix but definitely know it could use some change! Overall I definitely recommend this place don't sleep on it... its worth trying and will be a regular addition to places we eat!

Our first time dining and we love it! In our opinion it's way better than Olive Garden and Johnny Carinos. My husband had the Mac and cheese with added bacon. I had the ravioli with butternut squash and both were phenomenal. We'll definitely be back. For our 2 entrees and non-alcoholic drinks we paid $50. Not bad for a nice restaurant on a date night.

Wanted some Italian food but burned out on Olive Garden, so I did a quick Google search on Italian restaurants close by. Italianesque came up, it had great reviews and 10 minutes from the house so the wife and I went to check it out... First impression walking in was the smell of good food and a very clean restaurant!! We didn't make reservations so I recommend doing so, but we sat at the bar which was just fine with us. The atmosphere has a fine dining feel, staff are super friendly and fun to talk to.. you can really tell they like working there.. we ordered lasagna and Spaghetti with a spicy sausage appetizer.. the food came out quickly, hot and delicious and good portions as well.. and of course we had to have Tiramisu for dessert.. So over all a great place and I will definitely be back.. go check it out for yourself!!
